The Search for Significance –
Seeing Your TRUE WORTH through GOD’S EYES
Facilitated by Cheryl Brandreth
Thursdays, 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. beginning May 22
The Williamson Room
Women of St. Francis, let Thursday evenings be Girls’ Night Out and get connected with other women. We will study the book, “The Search for Significance, by Robert S. McGee, professional counselor and lecturer.
We will cover such topics as The Performance Trap, Approval Addict, The Blame Game, and Shame. Together we will discover God’s Answer to each of Satan’s Lies and begin to understand, apply and experience God’s Truths in our lives. Our “hunger for self-worth is God-given and can only be satisfied by Him,” says McGee. This book will help begin the process toward hope and healing through God’s grace and reveal His solution to our search for significance as we learn to identify what the Scriptures say about our significance and worth vs. the world view.
This book is available at most area bookstores, as well as online. Bring your Bible, as we will be immersing ourselves in the foundational truths of God’s Word. Feel free to bring your dinner as well. Childcare will not be provided. You may register by calling the church office, 228-1176 x 140 or via email at cherylb@stfrancisinthefields.org, or through our website at www.stfrancisinthefields.org.
